Kathy Nelson’s Bio

Kathy’s first job was working at Nordstrom’s department store. This is where she
learned the value of extraordinary customer service. As a single mother, in 1978, she
moved from Seattle, WA to San Diego, CA and spent the next two decades in corporate sales and marketing with a few years as a San Diego County Sales Manager and then as V.P. Senior Business Development Specialist. Kathy reached National Top Gold level in the President’s Club – which netted a two-week voyage to her choice of destination anywhere in the world!

In 1996, Kathy took the leap of passion and faith, by leaving the corporate umbrella
and going from the security of a healthy six figure income to zero. Kathy Nelson was on the cutting edge of the coaching movement when she founded San Diego, CA-based, On Track Success Coaching & Consulting and created the Passionate Life Approach. As someone who has fallen down and come back stronger more times than she can count; wherever her clients are, she’s been there and back. Kathy says, “And, if I can do it, certainly anyone can.”

After starting her own coaching practice in March 1996, she was certified as a Co-
Active Coach in October 1998 with Coaches Training Institute. She attended the
Vancouver and the San Jose ICF conferences taking classes all day for the duration.
Always one to walk the talk, Kathy had a business coach for the first year of her
practice and even coached with Jodi Jan, Shirley Anderson (as part of her Coaching
Salon Group) and took many extra classes with Thomas Leonard and Dave Buck at
Coachville. She built her coaching practice business over the past decade and has
logged hundreds of coaching hours and thanks to her continued work leading
teleclasses she’s coached thousands of people. This does not take into account her
one-on-one coaching through which she has coached hundreds of her own clients over
the last 10 years.

Kathy’s credentials are unparalleled. She was a coaching teleclass leader for By
Referral Only (BRO), a national coaching/training company, for almost 5 years. She
developed BRO’s online classes for Strong Foundation, Time & Planning, Visioning,
Basic Business and financial planning. She has studied with Jim Rhone, Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, Tommy Hopkins, Louise Hay, Terry Cole Whittaker, Dr. Paul Brenner, Dr. Christian Sorensen, Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith (seen on The Secret), Productive Learning & Leisure and many other fine motivational and inspirational leaders. She is regularly
hired by companies to support improving their employee’s performance, team
participation and contribution.

But, it doesn’t stop there. This past president of Business Network International has
tons of media credits. She was honored as the Best Life Coach in San Diego by the
San Diego Reader Magazine, published nationwide through Copley Press, quoted in the March 2006 Good Housekeeping magazine, a regular guest on radio shows and news segments including Channels 7, 8 and 10 and a guest on The Leeza Gibbons Show. Kathy ignites and fuels her passion by helping people identify their values and
strengths and weave important things into their lives. She helps her clients build
successful, satisfying careers and measurably improve their job satisfaction and
performance.

What’s next for you? I’m living my dream, coaching my clients to stretch into their most alive and passionate selves. Seeking and achieving my personal best in all of life and making sure I have many laughs along the way are key personal values for me. I’m a lifelong learner, interested in masterfully achieving my always expanding dreams of loving family, vibrant friendships, thriving business, passionate spirituality and humble service to our beautiful planet.

I work with my clients to help them clarify core values because this makes decision-making and action so much easier! Christine DuLaney Bio

While coaching hundreds of mortgage and real estate professionals in corporate America for nearly three and a half years, I found that many of my clients longed to be coached on their whole life.  After all, the various areas of their life impacted their business as their business impacted the various areas of their life.   I was being called to coach an individual’s whole life. 

In my private practice as a life coach, I coach people who want to reach the next level of their personal and professional lives.  I bring to you thousands of hours of coaching, training, and relationship building experience, as well as my life experience wherein I value authenticity, self-expression, learning, and growth.

We’ve moved from the information age, into the age of transformation where anything is possible.  I firmly believe this.  It is how I live my life, and what I know to be true for my clients.  I am a passionate, dedicated coach. 

As a coach, I ask questions to assist individuals in making empowering choices in their thoughts, actions, and beliefs allowing them to live a fulfilling life.  I skillfully and compassionately coach clients to gain clarity to remove self-imposed limitations and increase self-reliance to better leverage their strengths.  My clients develop a bone deep self-trust and peace of mind regardless of outside circumstances.  I act as a neutral sounding board to discuss challenges, opportunities, and different perspectives.  This allows my clients to step away from their day-to-day routine and effectively strategize on how to reach beyond where they are currently.

I believe every human being is naturally creative, resourceful, and whole which means that no one is “broken,” so no one needs to be “fixed.”  I believe you are the best source of answers for your own life.  I believe peace starts with me and with you, individually.  And I believe coaching weaves these beliefs together providing the juncture for transformation of individuals and, therefore, the world.
